When people are talking about emulators and ROMs in most cases they are talking about ways to get access to games that they can't otherwise play due to a lack of the hardware or not wanting to buy the game (or in some cases not being able to buy the game to do region release etc.). But when people are talking about ROMs and emulators that is very rarely, if every, the case. If you own a switch, rip your own ROMs and use them and them alone in an emulator you are fine and doing nothing wrong. Trying to argue that there is a legal way to do it is just trying to find some excuse. But again lets be honest, a overwhelming majority of the people here using / wanting to use emulators aren't buying a physical switch game and ripping a ROM of it. ![]() It is the definitive version of Animal Crossing, with new features and general improvements across the entire game, including new species of animal neighbors, new ways to customize your house and town, and a new main street shopping area and model home showcase. Sure ROMs are perfectly legal if you bought the game and ripped the ROM yourself. Animal Crossing - New Leaf launches in North America on June 9.
